Vendor Term’s & Conditions

Welcome to The Gift Mela. By registering and selling on our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These ensure a safe, fair, and transparent environment for all vendors and customers.

1. Vendor Registration & Compliance

• Vendors must provide accurate business and contact information.

• All products listed must comply with Indian law and The Gift Mela’s product listing policies.

• Vendors are responsible for ensuring product descriptions, pricing, and inventory are accurate and updated.

2. Order Fulfillment & Delivery

• Vendors must process and ship orders promptly within the committed time frame.

• Products must be well-packaged to avoid damage during transit.

• Orders marked as “Delivered” must be supported by delivery confirmation (e.g., tracking or courier proof).

3. Payment Terms

• Payments to vendors will be processed 7 days after successful delivery of the product to the customer.

• This 7-day period is to ensure the buyer has received the item in good condition and does not raise any dispute.

4. Deductions and Withholding

• If a product is found to be damaged, broken, faulty, or incorrect, The Gift Mela reserves the right to:

  • Withhold payment for the order.

  • Deduct refund or replacement costs from the vendor’s future payouts.

• Vendors are responsible for ensuring quality control and proper handling before shipping.

5. Returns & Refunds

• In cases of approved customer returns (e.g., damaged product, wrong item), the vendor is required to:

  • Accept the returned item.

  • Bear the cost of the return shipment, if applicable.

  • Refund or replace the item as per the platform’s policies.

6. Dispute Resolution

• All order-related disputes will be reviewed by The Gift Mela’s support team.

• Vendors will be given an opportunity to respond before a final resolution is made.

• The decision of The Gift Mela shall be final in such cases.

7. Account Suspension

The Gift Mela reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend a vendor account for:

• Repeated delivery failures or product quality issues.

• False product listings or misrepresentation.

• Violation of any platform policies.

8. Changes to Terms

The Gift Mela may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Vendors will be notified of major changes and are required to comply with the updated terms to continue selling on the platform.
