Return Eligibility

We only accept returns in the following situations:

  • You received a damaged, defective, or wrong product.

  • An item from your order is missing.

Note: We do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as change of mind, preference, or accidental order placement.


📦 Unboxing Video Requirement

To process any return or refund request, customers must provide a clear unboxing video from the moment the package is opened, without any cuts or edits. This helps us verify issues and ensures transparency for both parties.

Without a valid unboxing video, unfortunately, we cannot initiate a return, refund, or replacement.


Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can only be cancelled within 2 hours of placement.

  • After this window, the order is processed and cannot be cancelled or edited.

  • If your payment fails but the amount is debited, it will be auto-refunded within 7–10 working days by your bank.


💸 Refund Process

Refunds are only processed for:

  • Orders with missing, wrong, or damaged items (with unboxing proof).

  • Orders we are unable to fulfill or ship.

  • Payments made for cancelled orders within the 2-hour timeframe.

Refund Timeframe:

  • UPI/Credit/Debit Cards: 5–7 business days

  • Wallets/PayLater: 3–5 business days

  • Bank Transfers: 7–10 business days

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.


🔁 Exchange Policy

We do not offer direct exchanges. If eligible, the item will be refunded, and you may place a new order for the replacement product.


🚚 Return Procedure

If your order qualifies:

  1. Contact us at support@thegiftmela.com within 24 hours of delivery.

  2. Share your order ID, clear photos of the product, and the unboxing video.

  3. Our team will review and guide you through the next steps.

If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup or provide a return address, based on your location.


Non-Returnable Items

  • Personalized, customized, or gift-packed items

  • Digital or downloadable products

  • Items without original packaging

  • Items reported beyond 24 hours of delivery
